Big News! A New Chapter at the Center for Body Trust

Well, I have some news!

I'm thrilled to share that I'm stepping into the role of Chief Executive Officer at the Center for Body Trust, joining our incredible co-founders, Dana and Hilary, as a partner in leading and shaping the next chapter of this work together.

Yes, CEO. At the Center for Body Trust. I know. There's something delightfully unexpected about that combination, and I couldn't be more excited.

Many of you already know me through The Body Trust Podcast, our certification program, or other corners of this community. My relationship with Body Trust has grown over the years, as has my conviction that this work has something essential to offer the world.

I've spent more than two decades working in organizational and executive leadership, helping organizations navigate change, challenge entrenched systems, and build toward futures that better reflect their values. I've had the privilege of leading organizations through growth, transformation, and some extraordinarily complicated moments. And those experiences have taught me that the most meaningful work happens when we're willing to question not only what we're doing, but how and why we're doing it.

That brings me to why I'm here.

I believe deeply in Body Trust. Not simply as a framework for transforming our relationships with our bodies, but as an invitation to reconsider how we relate to power, worthiness, liberation, and one another. In a world that continually asks us to distrust ourselves, disconnect from our bodies, and measure our value against someone else's expectations, Body Trust offers something profoundly different.

And I think we're only beginning to understand what's possible.

I've spent much of my career working at the intersection of individual and systemic change, and I know that transformation doesn't happen simply because we have better ideas. It happens when we create the conditions for people and communities to live those ideas. What excites me about joining CFBT in this capacity is the opportunity to help build those conditions, to deepen the work we've already begun, and to imagine where Body Trust might take us next.

Dana and Hilary have spent years building something remarkable. As we move toward a new chapter of shared leadership and ownership, I'm honored to join them in nurturing it, challenging it, strengthening it, and imagining what else might be possible.

This next chapter is about both deepening our roots and expanding our reach.

We'll have more to share in the coming months about what's ahead for CFBT. There are exciting conversations underway, new possibilities emerging, and plenty of questions we're still exploring together.

And if you'd like to hear more about what we're imagining, Dana, Hilary, and I are talking about this transition and what's ahead on this week's episode of The Body Trust Podcast. [Listen to the episode →]

For now, I want to say how grateful I am for the trust Dana and Hilary have placed in me, how honored I am to be part of this community, and how genuinely excited I am about what we might build together.

With excitement and possibility,

Sirius Bonner
